At Soon Erased, we treat every artwork as a one‑of‑a‑kind piece deserving of museum‑level care. Every order is packaged and prepared for dispatch directly by the artist from their studio or creative workspace. This ensures authenticity, quality control at the source, and the safest possible handling before your artwork enters the courier network.
This policy outlines shipping methods, delivery expectations, international considerations, and what to expect at each stage.
1. Order Processing & Handling Time
• Typical processing time: 1–3 business days.
• Peak periods (launches, holidays): 3–5 business days.
• Each artwork is packaged by the artist themselves to maintain quality and ensure accurate handling.
• Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking email with courier details and expected delivery timelines.
2. Packaging Standards
We follow gallery-grade packaging standards to protect the integrity of each artwork:
• **Unframed works on paper** — archival sleeves, backing boards, rigid mailers or reinforced tubes depending on size and fragility.
• **Framed artworks** — corner protectors, secure internal padding, protective wrap layers and reinforced double‑wall boxes.
• **Canvas paintings** — padded corners, wrap protection, double‑walled boxes, structural bracing where needed.
• **Mixed‑media or textured work** — customised supports to prevent movement or surface damage.
Every package is designed to withstand international transit and courier handling.
3. UK Shipping (Domestic)
We ship directly from our artists, using discounted Shopify rates for:
• DPD UK (Tracked)
• Royal Mail (Tracked)
**Estimated delivery time:** 1–3 business days after dispatch.
**Tracking:** Provided for all domestic orders.
**Handling fee:** Shopify applies a 12.5% handling fee to courier‑calculated rates, already included in the price shown at checkout.
4. EU Shipping
We ship to all EU member states.
• Courier service: Standard International
• Estimated delivery: 2–10 business days
**Rates (weight‑based):**
• 0–1kg — £16.95
• 1–5kg — £29.95
• 5–15kg — £59.95
Customs and VAT: Depending on your country’s rules, you may be asked to pay local import VAT or customs duties when the parcel arrives.
5. International Shipping (Non‑EU)
We offer global shipping to the UAE, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, and more.

• Estimated delivery: 3–17 business days

• 0–1kg — £19.95
• 1–5kg — £59.95
• 5–15kg — £99.95
Please note: Import taxes, duties, and handling fees may be charged by your local customs office. These are the responsibility of the buyer.
6. United States Shipping
We ship regularly to collectors in the United States.
• Courier service: Standard International
• Estimated delivery: 3–17 business days
**Rates (weight‑based):**
• 0–1kg — £24.95
• 1–5kg — £49.95
• 5–15kg — £89.95
Customs duties and state‑level taxes may apply depending on the artwork value.
7. Tracking Information
Most shipments include full tracking information, which will be emailed to you as soon as the artist dispatches your artwork.
Tracking availability can vary based on:
• Destination country
• Courier service
• Artwork size/weight
If tracking appears delayed, we can contact the courier on your behalf.
8. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Parcels
**Damaged parcels:**
If your artwork arrives damaged:
• Email support@soonerased.com within 48 hours.
• Include photos of the packaging, artwork, and shipping label.
• We will arrange a replacement (where possible), credit, or refund.
**Lost parcels:**
If your tracking has shown no movement for 10+ business days, we will open an investigation with the courier and resolve the case as quickly as possible.
9. Incorrect Shipping Details
Please ensure your address is correct at checkout. If an item is returned due to incorrect or incomplete details, additional shipping costs may apply.
