Florida

In Florida, a moment of humid stillness is distilled into an image poised between familiarity and estrangement. A modernist building, its windows glowing amber in the encroaching dusk, stands silent beneath the delicate sway of palm trees. The empty courtyard, with its faintly glimmering puddle, suggests recent rain: a fleeting disturbance now replaced by calm. The interplay of artificial light and natural shadow evokes both warmth and melancholy, as if the scene hovers between memory and dream. With restrained brushwork and a cinematic sense of atmosphere, the artist transforms a mundane suburban setting into a study of solitude, reflection, and the quiet tension that lingers in the spaces we inhabit when day gives way to night.
